The challenge of 21st-century education is its role and strategy in bridging the gap between the education process in Higher Education with the world of work and the need for innovation. One of the approaches used to accommodate the 21st-century education is Outcome-Based Education (OBE).

Education plays a vital role as the main driver of the progress of a nation's civilization through the development of character, science, technology, art, and culture that plays an immense role in sustainable development. The new vision of global education (Education 2030) is embodied in the 4th Goal of the Sustainable Development Goals:

“Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.”

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has encouraged the birth of Education 4.0 and reinforced the need for innovation in learning methods by utilizing Information and Communication Technology. The
development of technology that becomes increasingly smarter makes "learning anywhere and anytime” even more convenient.
